Hello everyone!
I hope that you’re able to enjoy your Thanksgiving holiday, even though it looks different this year. We can be grateful, at least, for the technology that allows us to to connect even in uncertain times and for family that understands when we have to make the tough decisions.
November just flew by this year! While we did not get any Children’s Cooking Program videos, we did learn how to carve pumpkins thanks to Ms. Robyn’s grandchildren. Hopefully, throughout the month you were able to enjoy some of our Take & Make Activity kits and Book Bundles. They’re all the fun of library programs with the convenience of staying home!
Looking ahead to December, we are very excited to offer Drive Through Cookies and Cocoa with Santa. We’ll do this in the same manner we did our Trick-or-Treat (that’s actually what gave us the idea). You drive through, meet Santa, drop off a letter, say hello to everyone, and pick up your goodie bag with cookies, coloring books, cocoa packets, and more! We’ll continue Story Time and Family Night through Saturday December 21 before we take a break. Programs will resume January 4 with videos and radio programs.
Have Happy Holidays and stay safe!
~Miss Jami
